Upcoming Class Schedule:

  • Molly Hat (knit):
    • Let's learn to knit cables! This is a great project for a cabling newbie, small enough to not be too taxing, beautiful end result. This hat is knit with worsted weight yarn so once you get the hang of using the cable needles it will knit up quickly!
    • Classes are September 19, 23, October 3 and 7 . Tuesday classes are from 5-7pm, and Saturday classes are from 1-3pm. Pick one class from each week that suits your schedule best and we'll get you started on your new project!
  • Begin to knit/crochet:
    • Have you wanted to learn to knit or crochet, or need a refresher course on how to get started? Stop by the shop on Wednesdays from 1-3pm and we'll help you get started, or restarted as the case might be! If you have a project in mind that you would like to learn to knit or crochet, we'll do our best to get you started on the right path. Not sure which technique you'd like to learn? We have yarn and tools for you to try out at the shop before you pick a craft and make a purchase!
  • Breckenridge Boots (crochet):
    • At last, a crochet class! These are some really cool faux-Ugg boots that we will crochet using flip flops as the soles. While not technically that challenging to crochet, there are many pieces to the pattern that I will help walk you through. If you think you are going to try this class, run out and buy a pair of flip flops NOW! You need to buy the size that is closest to your actual foot length, not shoe size.  The sole needs to fit closely to your foot so the boot does not end up too floppy.
    • Classes are September 26, 30, October 10 and 14. Tuesday classes are from 5-7pm and Saturday classes are from 1-3pm. Pick one class from each week that suits your schedule best and we'll get you started on your new project!
  • Cowlgirl Cowl (knit):
    • Here's a cowl alternative to a shawl. I usually end up wearing my shawls draped with the largest point hanging in the front. This cowl comes ready-made for that look, without the loose ends to deal with! Knit out of worsted weight yarn, it is sure to keep you or your favorite person warm in the coming winter.
    • Classes are October 17, 21 November 4, 17. Tuesday classes are from 5-7pm and Saturday classes are from 1-3pm. Pick one class from each week that suits your schedule best and we'll get you started on your new project!
  • Fall Cowlgirl (crochet):
    • Look at this, I was able to find similar cowls in knit and crochet! Similar to the Cowlgirl cowl, but using fingering weight yarn, this cosy cowl will again give you the look of a shawl but will stay in place with no fuss!
    • Classes are October 24, 28, November 11, and 14. Tuesday classes are from 5-7pm and Saturday classes are from 1-3pm. Pick one class from each week that suits your schedule best and we'll get you started on your new project!
  • Slippies! (knit):
    • Here's a quick gift project to "slip" in before the crush of the holidays are upon us. These slippers are knit out of super-bulky weight yarn, so they'll knit up in a flash.
    • Classes are November 18, 21, 28 and December 3rd. Tuesday classes are from 5-7pm and Saturday classes are from 1-3pm. Pick one class from each week that suits your schedule best and we'll get you started on your new project!
  • Knit or crochet ornaments:
    • Should you find yourself looking for a few stocking stuffers, or somehow having extra time on your hands to do one more project, these little cuties are for you! I'll have several patterns ready and yarns ready to go, you can just drop in, pick a favorite and get started!
    • Classes are December 5, 9, 12, 16. Tuesday classes are from 5-7pm and Saturday classes are from 1-3pm. Pick one class from each week that suits your schedule best and we'll get you started on your new project!
